“and he judges the world with righteousness” - Psalm 9:8
The Lord will judge the world with righteousness. This is both a problem and a blessing. How you view this depends on what side of the aisle you’re on.
The Lord judging with righteousness is a problem for the unrighteous. Unrepentant sinners will face the Lord and will not be allowed to enter His kingdom because He is righteous. He is the definition of perfection, the Alpha and Omega, the first and the last. Christ dying on the cross is life giving! When the perfectly righteous Jesus Christ died on the cross, He did so to take away your sin. The only truly righteous person to ever walk on Earth died as a sacrifice for sinners. He bridged the gap between God and man.
For those whom belong to Jesus, the Gospel is wonderful news! When we repented and believed we became justified in that very moment. As we fix our eyes on Jesus, our blessings are renewed, our faith is restored, and we are strengthened. Faith in Christ regenerates the heart, changes lives, and renews the mind. It is impossible to have an encounter with Jesus and not be changed! Although we are still sinners, Christ died for us!
What will the judgement seat look like for you? Will you stand before the King justified or condemned?
